information for teachers

Marie Curie is the study association of students of physics and astronomy in Nijmegen. It is a flourishing association that has a lot to offer to her members, which are students as well as professors. A lot of activities are organised yearly by the student members, such as lunch lectures of (inter)national researchers, excursions to research institutes, camping trips and variety shows. The character of the association is depicted in our magazine, the "Impuls", which is released four times a year. Fans of sports can join the Marie Curie team in the largest yearly relay-race of the world: the Batavierenrace.

Besides these activities, we also take great pride in the international study tour we organise. This trip takes 3 weeks and is organised yearly, but it takes months of preparation. During these weeks several cities, universities and physics research institutes are visited. Destinations of these trips have been for example Canada, Japan, Spain, England, South Korea, Italy and Scandinavia.

We also organize several activities suited for as well students as professors. If you are a teacher of physics or astronomy at the Radboud University of Nijmegen and you want to know more about membership for teachers, you can contact . You can also sign up for the association through this link.
