Marie Curie is the study association of physics and astronomy in Nijmegen. It is a flourishing association that has a lot to offer to her members, which are students as well as professors. A lot of activities are organised yearly bij the members, such as lunch lectures of physics researchers, excursions to research institutes, camping trips and variety shows. The character of the association is depicted in our magazine, the 'Impuls', which is released four times a year. Fans of sports can join the 'Marie Curie team' in the largest yearly relay-race of the world: the Batavierenrace.
Besides these activities, we also take great pride in the international study tours we organise. These take 1-2 weeks and are organised twice a year, but they take months of preparation. During these weeks several cities, universities and physics research institutes are visited. Destinations of these trips have been for example China, Canada, Japan, Spain, England, South Korea and Italy.
These activities are partly financed through contributions of our members and subsidies of the Radboud University of Nijmegen. Marie Curie also has close connections to her sponsors, which make a lot of the association's liveliness possible. The association can offer ways to promote your company among more than 300 young physicists.
Such possibilities are workshops or presentations at the university of Nijmegen. Marie Curie also offers several ways to improve the brand awareness of your company. Think of company logo's on activity posters, advertorials in our magazine and advertisements on our website.
You can contact the commissioner of external affairs of our association via to find out more about the possibilities of collaboration of your company and the study association Marie Curie.
