Stichting Marie Curie Reizen (the Marie Curie Travel Foundation) organizes a study trip every year for physics and astronomy students in Nijmegen. This year we have visited amazing physics institutes in Germany, Italy and France and enjoyed the beautiful cities of Munich, Trieste, Florence and Grenoble. Currently, the board of the SMCR is busy changing the Articles of Association of the SMCR. The board wants to provide the people for whom we are organizing the trips a moment where you can ask any questions you have about the changes in our Articles of Association. Note that we do not have a general meeting where these changes will be discussed and voted for, so this Q&A is the ideal moment to share your questions and ideas about the changes in the Articles of Association. If you want a copy of the proposed changes, please contact and we will send you a copy of the Articles of Association where the changes have been highlighted. We will also present this document during this Q&A. If you are not able to attend, you can also send your questions by e-mail to us, preferably before the 3rd of June. In de avond van dinsdag 7 juni staat de Wissel-alv alweer op de planning. De alv zal plaatsvinden in HG00.303, met eventuele uitloop in de avond van 8 en de collegepauze van 9 juni.

Op deze ALV kan je je mening geven over het beleidsplan en de begroting van het kandidaatsbestuur van 2022-2023, kan je te horen krijgen hoe de Sustainabilicie de vereniging wil verduurzamen, begrotingen beoordelen van een aantal commissies en vragen wat Olympus nou precies is. Kom daarom gezellig in de avond langs om dit en meer te ondervinden en om hopelijk een lekkere kapsalon van de Lijcie te eten!

Heb jij zin om tussen de laatste lessen en de voorbereidingen voor de tentamens door een rustmomentje te nemen en te genieten van (hopelijk?) het mooie weer! Kom dan meewandelen 8 juni in de pauze! Pak even een rustmomentje en kom even een goed verdiend luchtje scheppen terwijl je lekker kan kletsen met je studiegenoten.
We verzamelen achter het huygensgebouw bij de picknicktafels om 12:30 en zullen een klein rondje lopen om zo helemaal tot rust te komen.

Hey lieve reisgrage Marieërs,

Zoals je misschien gehoord hebt, is er net een groep van 20 natuurkundigen terug van een fantastische reis door Duitsland, Italië en Frankrijk. We zijn dus weer op zoek naar een nieuwe commissie die de studiereis voor volgend jaar wil organiseren. Met z'n vieren zorg je dat 15 andere natuurkundigen allemaal vette instituten in het buitenland gaan bezoeken met jou en zich in het weekend nog met gave culturele activiteiten kunnen vermaken. Hiervoor en hierna moeten ze stukjes schrijven die jij als commissie moet nakijken.

Ook moet je nog regelen dat er een wetenschappelijk begeleider mee gaat en deze zal uiteindelijk ook cijfers toekennen aan de eindversies van de stukjes na de reis. Dit is een samenvatting van wat je allemaal moet doen en als je meer wil weten kan je altijd contact met ons leggen via de mail (smcr@marie-curie.nl) of app/spreek iemand van het SMCR bestuur (Anna, Marcel, Tom, Joost, Ilija) of de Italië reiscommissie (Emma, Aileen, Agnes, Maarten) op een ander moment aan.

Hey dear travel minded Marieërs,

As you may have heard, a group of 20 physicists just returned from a fantastic trip through Germany, Italy and France. Now we are looking for a new committee to organize next year's study trip. The four of you will make sure that 15 other physicists visit all kinds of cool institutes abroad (and take the attached typical picture) and that they can enjoy themselves with cool cultural activities during the weekend. Before and after this they have to write articles that you as a committee have to check.

You also have to arrange for an academic supervisor to go with them and he or she will eventually assign grades to the final versions of the articles after the trip. This is a summary of what you will have to do and if you want to know more you can always contact us by mail (smcr@marie-curie.nl) or app/talk to someone of the SMCR board (Anna, Marcel, Tom, Joost, Ilija) or the Italy travel committee (Emma, Aileen, Agnes, Maarten) at any time.
