Batavierenrace 2022
totDe Batavierenrace is de ultravette hardloopestafette van Nijmegen naar Enschede, vanaf het Gymnasion, via Duitsland, door de achterhoek, naar de campus van de UTwente. Met een groep natuurkundigen gaan we trainen en strijden, en het wordt hoe dan ook geweldig. Ongeacht of je marathons loopt, of naar de koelkast, iedereen kan meedoen. Mocht je nu denken: 'Dit wil ik niet missen!', zet jezelf dan nu op de interesselijst. Iedereen die dit collegejaar (2021-2022) óf afgelopen collegejaar (2020-2021) als student of promovendus ingeschreven staat/stond kan meedoen!
De deelnemersbijdrage zal 25 + 5 - 25 euro bedragen. Dit is inclusief vervoer naar de race vanuit Nijmegen, avondeten op zaterdag en een plek om onze tenten op te zetten, maar exclusief een shirt. Omdat we het animo nog niet weten kan het zijn dat daar een kleine extra bijdrage voor gevraagd wordt, maar alleen van degenen die daadwerkelijk een shirt willen.
May 1st it is time for the 48th edition of the Batavierenrace, and that's cool! The Batavierenrace is an awesome running relay from Nijmegen to Enschede, from the sport's center through Germany and the Achterhoek to the campus of UTwente. With a group of physicists we will train for this event, and it will be amazing. Whether you run marathons, or to your fridge, everybody can join! If you don't want to miss it, don't hesitate to enroll yourself as interested. Anyone who is/was registered as a student or PhD candidate this academic year (2021-2022) ór last academic year (2020-2021) can participate!
The costs will be 25 + 5 - 25 euros. This includes transport to the race from Nijmegen, dinner on Saturday and a place to pitch our tents, but excludes a shirt. Since we don't know how many people would want this, it can be the case that we'll ask a small extra fee for this, but only from people who want a shirt.
