Beste Marieërs,

Het is bijna zover! Het symposium van Marie Curie staat voor de deur, met dit jaar als thema biofysica!
Er zullen diverse praatjes zijn over interessante onderwerpen, zoals hoe virussen werken op mechanisch niveau, de biomechanica van topatleten en of we wel alleen zijn in het universum. Verder wordt de dag verzorgd met lekkere lunch en een gezellige borrel achteraf met de sprekers! Meer informatie is te vinden op de website symposium.marie-curie.nl. Het symposium is toegankelijk voor iedereen, dus of je nou eerstejaars bachelorstudent bent of promovendus, kom langs!

Aanmelden voor het symposium op 4 februari kan via de website: https://symposium.marie-curie.nl/index.php?page=inschrijven. Zorg ervoor dat je jouw NNV nummer invult als je lid bent van NNV, Marie Curie krijgt namelijk subsidie voor elk aanwezig NNV lid. Hopelijk zien we je woensdag 4 februari!

Dear Marieërs,

It is almost time for Marie Curie's Symposium on the 4th of February, with this years theme: Biophysics! There will be diverse talks about interesting topics, like how virusses work on mechanical and dynamical level, how biomechanics is applied to identify optimal techniques for athletes, and even if we are alone in the universe. Furthermore, the day will include a free lunch and drinks afterwards, with the chance to talk to the speakers of the day! You can find more information on the website: symposium.marie-curie.nl. The symposium is open for everyone! So if you are a first year bachelor or a phd student, you are all welcome!

Make sure to enter your NNV number if you are a member of NNV. Marie Curie gets funding for every NNV member that attents the symposium! We hope to see you all on the 4th of February!
